Ken Carl is a senior managing director on the student housing and multifamily team for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, leading the team in acquiring, developing and managing student housing and multifamily properties. Carl is responsible for the organization and execution of the firm’s multifamily and student housing investment strategies, while also overseeing asset management’s implementation of those strategies across all assets within the portfolio.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2021, Carl spent over 20 years at PNC. As a senior executive for PNC Real Estate, Carl spearheaded the bank’s effort to expand its multifamily and student housing platform across its business while also overseeing a $9B nationwide portfolio comprised of all property types.
Carl earned a B.A. in Government from Dartmouth College.
