Justin Mackler is an analyst on the student housing and multifamily team for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, responsible for supporting the origination, analysis, underwriting, financing, deal structuring and execution of investment strategies for the student housing and multifamily portfolios. Mackler also works closely with on-site property management to direct strategy and oversee performance of the assets.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2025, Mackler worked as a development analyst at Related Companies, specializing in the financial analysis, acquisition, development, and asset management of hospitality and luxury residential assets in West Palm Beach. Prior to joining Related Companies, Mackler served as an investment analyst at Ram Realty Advisors, supporting the acquisitions, asset management, and investor relations teams for luxury multifamily and retail asset classes across the southeastern United States. Prior to attending graduate school, Mackler served on the investment sales team at Marcus & Millichap, focused on investment sales of grocery-anchored shopping centers and single-tenant net-leased properties across the southeastern United States.
Mackler earned a M.S. in real estate from the University of Florida and a B.S. in finance from the University of Central Florida. Mackler is a licensed real estate sales associate in the state of Florida.
