Anthony Santoro is a managing director and head of real estate debt asset management for Kayne Anderson’s real estate group, responsible for overseeing the active management, performance monitoring, and strategic execution across the firm’s commercial real estate debt portfolio.
Prior to joining Kayne Anderson in 2026, Santoro served as vice president and head of asset management at Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group, where he led national asset-management strategy across a diversified mixed-use, residential, and commercial portfolio totaling $11B+, 400+ transactions, and 160,000 multifamily units, and served as a voting member of the Investment Committee. Santoro previously served as senior managing director of Caribbean Property Group, overseeing a multi-strategy real estate and NPL platform in partnership with Goldman Sachs and Perella Weinberg, managing $2.5B+ in principal transactions across 2,500+ loan relationships and 5,000+ assets. His career spans over 25 years of real estate investment, asset management, and distressed credit experience across institutional platforms, principal investment, and portfolio operations.
Santoro earned a B.S. in Management with a minor in Financial Investments from Ithaca College.
